Xiaohongshu research can use public notes, topic tags, public creator profiles, and comments for consumer insight. Before starting, distinguish whether the question concerns brand mentions, usage experience, or discussion in a city or category.
How can notes be used to study consumer needs?
List selection criteria for brands, categories, situations, or cities, and confirm whether captions, tags, comments, or engagement figures are needed. Public expression can surface recurring themes, but is not a statistical conclusion about all consumers.
Are private messages or non-public notes provided?
No. Scope is limited to public notes, public creator profiles, and public discussion. If the use involves model training, a customer-facing product, or third-party sharing, state it during quotation so source restrictions can be checked.
Sources and usage
Public notes, creator profiles, and discussion only; no private messages or non-public content.
If you plan to train a model, use the data in a customer-facing product or share it with third parties, mention this when requesting a quote so we can check source permissions and restrictions.
Public access does not establish permission for collection, training or redistribution. Naming a platform does not imply affiliation, agency or endorsement.
