Assess the fit for your project

Weibo posts, reposts, and replies can help study how public discussion develops. Define the dates and topic rules around a brand, event, or issue to distinguish original posts, propagation, and later response.

How can Weibo data support event monitoring?

Define event names, related terms, accounts, date windows, and required fields. Posts, reposts, public replies, topics, and engagement figures can reconstruct visible discussion paths, but sample scope and keyword rules should travel with the results.

Can public opinion be analyzed by user profile?

Projects may use research-relevant fields in public account profiles, but do not supply messages or sensitive personal information and should not infer sensitive attributes. Interpret results through public content and clear selection rules.

Sources and usage

Public information only; no private messages or sensitive personal information.

If you plan to train a model, use the data in a customer-facing product or share it with third parties, mention this when requesting a quote so we can check source permissions and restrictions.

Public access does not establish permission for collection, training or redistribution. Naming a platform does not imply affiliation, agency or endorsement.
